What plan should I choose?

Your plan should be the number of books you want to take home at one time. If the child, parent and the sibling are reading separate books, you should go for a 3 book plan.

2 book plan is our most subscribed plan for a single child. Since parents generally let the child choose 1 book and the other book is the parents choice, to help their child explore different genres, styles, authors.

How many times can I exchange books?

Books can be exchanged any number of times at the library. There is no limit on the number of times books can be exchanged, within the subscription term.

Do you have delivery option?

Yes.

All the unlimited plans (except 1 book plan) offer a free weekly delivery. The delivery is scheduled as per your area, so please reach out to us for your delivery day.

For the fixed book plans, there is one delivery every month. We deliver books across Pune, with this plan.

Question 5

How do I avail the delivery service?

The delivery service has fixed area wise delivery days . Please check with the front office, +91-7219100119 the delivery day in your area.

You are requested to hold the books on the website, at least one day prior to the delivery day.  Also please inform your availability via whatsApp, since you need to return the books you are holding to the same delivery person. Once the earlier set is picked the new set of books will be handed over to you.

Please note at any point of time, you can hold the number of books as per your plan. There will be fees of 25/- per book per day if for some reason you do not return the books and accept the delivery. Also, please note the next delivery will happen next week as per the scheduled.

The deliveries are usually made in the evenings post 5pm.

Question 6

How long can I read the same book?

You can read the book for a period of 10 days. Post which you can just inform us, if you want to continue reading the same book. Unless there is a waiting for that book, we can happily re-issue the book to you.

However, please make sure to return the books before your membership expires. There will be overdues of 25/- per day per book post the expiry.

Can I take a subscription break?

Sure. In all your semi-annual and annual plans, we offer you to hold the membership for 1 month and 2 months respectively.

Please note, the hold is a minimum on one month and maximum of 2 months (on annual subscription only). This 2 month hold, can be taken separately if needed, in 2 slots of 1 month each.

Please note, all the books need to be returned back before you start the hold period. 
The hold request needs to be put in via email -frontoffice@readwithus.co . We will confirm the request and the renewal date is then moved forward accordingly.

What happens if books are held beyond subscription end date ?

Books are expected to be returned at the library on or before the subscription end date.  Should books be retained with a member beyond the subscription end date, overdue charges are applicable at the rate of 25 INR per book per day, until the books are returned.

Question 9

At subscription expiry, can I choose not to renew at that time, but renew at a later date?

Accepted Answer

Sure. At the time of subscription expiry, you can either choose to renew ( to continue using the service seamlessly), or not to renew -  in which case, the books do have to be duly returned at the library, and the subscription will be marked inactive.

You can then renew at any later point, by just paying the reading fees for the plan you choose.

Question 10

Do I have to pay registration fees when I resume after the subscription break?

Registration Charge is to be paid at the time of starting a new membership and it is a ONE time non-refundable charge. It gives you a lifetime membership - till the time the deposit is with us, even when you are on the subscription break.

If you take the deposit, close the account and want to rejoin, the registration fee and the refundable deposit will have to be paid to start the membership.

Question 11

What should I do if the issued book is accidentally damaged or lost?

If the book is damaged in a way that is irreparable- lime missing pages, heavy scribbling etc. then the cost of the book needs to be paid by the member.

If the book jacket is damaged, there will be charges of 50/- levied.

We request all our members to please check the book while issuing/accepting delivery itself, so there are no confusions later on.

Question 12

What is the process to get the refundable security deposit?

Security deposit amount taken at signup time is refundable whenever member chooses to close the membership. Once the books are returned and the closure form is filled, we refund.

Charges towards book damages or pending overdue  (if any) are adjusted against the deposit amount and the rest refunded. In case, pending dues from member are more than the deposit amount, the deposit amount will be forfeited, and the difference will be payable by the member.

Question 13

Can I get the refund of the reading fees?

The reading fees once paid and the tenure chosen, cannot be refunded.

Also please make sure you use the membership for the whole tenure. If you do not use it, there will not be any refunds or membership extensions.

There will be a refund of the deposit amount paid, once the closure form is filled and all books returned.
